The VAC 212 Computer Lab is a valuable resource for all currently enrolled Art, Art History, and Digital Studies students. Opened in October 2017, the lab is a work in progress. Although lab monitors are available during some hours throughout the week (see hours), current students are the stewards of the place. The lab has 14 Wacom tablets and cameras that be borrowed during any lab monitor shift from Thursday after 3 pm until Tuesday at 8 am. The lab also has Large Format Printer. Though monitors are available, directions to the printer are here: VAC 212 Multipurpose Printer (SHARED). Finally, the lab has a multipurpose printer with a scanner. Directions for the scanner are here: Directions for LF Epson Scanner (SHARED). If you have any questions, please email VAC212Lab@davidson.edu.
If you encounter problems with the lab, please review VAC 212 FAQ / Troubleshooting to find an answer to the question. If you don’t find the answer on this Google Doc, please add your concern with as many details about what machine, software, etc. you were using, and how you tried to solve the problem. Then please point ti@davidson.edu to your problem.
